Taking Charge of Your Fertility – Book Review

Ok, I’m not getting chubby, I’m pregnant. The rumours are true….the doctor is expecting.

Yes, we are happy to share our news that Steve and I are expecting a baby in February. We couldn’t be happier.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I like to use myself as a guinea pig for my treatments so then I can really describe to my patients what something feels like, tastes like, is like from a first-hand experience. In this case, I used the book: Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. I studied my cycle for over half a year at the signs and signals my body makes. This step-by-step book is easy to read and understand and give you lots of tips and tricks based on your situation. It’s the first book I recommend to women who want to avoid using chemical birth control as well as any woman planning on having children in the next couple years. It has sections for both women avoiding pregnancy and those who want to achieve pregnancy. I would recommend this book to any woman aged 20 to menopause to learn more about what your body is telling you.
