What Puts Me To Sleep…

I’m in my 3rd trimester now and up to the washroom quite a bit during the night. Sometimes it’s hard to get back to sleep or hard to fall asleep in the the first place. Everyone keeps tell me to get my sleep while I can before the baby comes. This is one of the reasons I turned to guided imagery.

The other reason was that I want all the tools I can to have a healthy pregnancy and manageable natural birth. I’ve downloaded from iTunes an album by Belleruth Naparstek, the leader in guided imagery and affirmation CDs/mp3s.


I’ve been listening to the pregnancy soundtracks before bed. Sometimes I start to drift off during the track and then my subconscious takes over and I’m feeling the benefits without even having to concentrate fully on it. It’s fabulous for helping me get back to sleep in the middle of the night as well.
